Mini Beef Mushroom Burgers

These burgers are sure to be a hit at your Canada Day BBQ! By blending finely chopped mushrooms with the ground beef, these burgers stay juicy even when made with extra lean ground beef. Dress burgers with low-fat toppings such as shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes to keep them lean and wholesome.

Student Dietitian Tip: Serve these burgers with fresh and local Ontario vegetables for a balanced meal. Aim to make half your meal vegetables to complement the nutrition of the burgers.
